Do I need a Shade Carrier?

My larger shades use duplex fittings which require shade carriers. Shade carriers are fixtures that are widely used by interior designers as they allow you the most flexibility when decorating your home. Shade carriers come in varying heights which you choose according to the size of your lamp or the light you wish to cast.

For example, most would choose to have the shade on a bedside lamp relatively low to avoid seeing the bulb.

My shades are timeless, one of a kind pieces. I use duplex fittings to give you the ability to pair our shades with different lamps, or change things up, should you redecorate.
